He is also the CEO of Championbwoybrand, a growing clothing line. Raised in Kakuma, Kenya, Skeji discovered his love for music at the age of 12. By 14, he joined Street Boyz and released their first crew track “Young Ghetto Soldier” His breakthrough came in 2015 when Street Boyz won Kakuma Got Talent Season 2, a moment witnessed by Kenyan hip-hop star Octopizzo, who later took him to The Trend (NTV) with Larry Madowo, giving Skeji his first national spotlight.
