Welcome to Chasing the Woodzman, where you join us in our North Idaho woodland projects. We are the husband-and-wife team behind the channel: Ryan, the Woodzman, and Rachel, the one doing the chasing! Every day, we tackle the challenges of building a life off the beaten path. In 2020, we moved onto a 10-acre mountain paradise… except the house was halfway finished, there were no outbuildings, and the wilderness had never been tamed. It has taken a load of work, creativity, and craftsmanship to become a beautiful home. It was perfect for us! Although there is still a long way to go to see its full potential. In our videos you will see logging, saw milling, building, framing, and home remodel projects like custom wood trimming, slate tiling, cabinetry, plumbing, and electrical.
