Along his career, Mintz has received guidance from and collaborated with the greatest musicians of the 20th century as violinists Jascha Heifetz, Isaac Stern, Dorothy DeLay, Ida Haendel, Ivry Gitlis, Pinchas Zukerman, Itzhak Perlman, pianist Arthur Rubinstein, cellists Pablo Casals and Mstislav Rostropovich, conductors Sergiu Celibidache, Zubin Mehta, Claudio Abbado, Carlo Maria Giulini, Eugene Ormandy and Riccardo Muti, among others. Mintz has also played with the best orchestras in the world as the Berlin, Vienna, Los Angeles, and New York Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, Philadelphia and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestras, among others.
